Rainbows and Greener Pastures

We dedicate this page to our beloved dogs who have retired, moved to new homes or "graduated" to pet heaven. These personalities influence and enrich our lives, so it is fitting they receive tribute for their love and companionship.

The Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

We lost Tigger to a tragic accident in August 2014. He is now my mothers buddy in Heaven.

She was the love of Lonnie’s life and our house dog. She was called to the Lord in February 2014 and has been missed and still very much loved. She was the eternal fetch dog and would go after anything and everything tirelessly.

Zoe

Zoe is now part of a breeding program located in Eastern Washington.

Tasha

Has been retired and is living her life with an older couple in Snohomish . They are extremely pleased and very happy to get her. She is their forever companion and has also taken over their bed. A real sweetheart and thrilled to be number one in their lives

Cinder

Cinder is living in Puyallup with retired Mama Kay She goes to work with her and totally rules the roost here. They take walks a Home Depot and see all the people and she's loving that. She has stolen their hearts.

Autumn

Autumn will remain the "reigning queen" here at Aspenrainfields, but she will be relieved of her motherly duties. She has produced some incredible pups, and lucky are the people who have them. She remains a devoted companion, and oversees the daily activities, even if from her comfy place on the back of the leather chair by the window.

Boo

This handsome boy has moved to a new family in Oregon.

Cabo

Cabo has moved to live with a large family in Bellingham.

Bug

Bug has moved .....

Hershey

Hershey is now retired.

Levi

Levi has relocated to Northern Canada.

Jinx

Jinx has passed from unknown causes. She is missed.

Fancee

Fancee has relocated to a loving home.

Merit

Merit has relocated to a loving home.

Mattie

Mattie has relocated to a loving home.

We love each and every one of our pet family. Their lives inspire us in the kindness and love they've shared.

Noel - Noel is Lonnie's nighttime lap dog and is with him in the easy chair. She appears to be a dog with an old soul – one who is totally in tune with their owners and surroundings. She doesn't miss anything including balls. Noel has been training to be a superb fetcher and would like to see her advance to Frisbee as she ages. She is completely devoted and loyal. She is quite intuitive with human emotions and feelings. Has that sixth sense. Very much a lover and cuddlebug.

She has an inner peace that glows with confidence. Ruby stays behind the scenes as an observer and follower. She has had an excellent litter of beautiful pups. Great markings and temperament.

Teaka - Oklahoma bred and is much the country girl. She has the most beautiful amber/bronze eyes that will melt your heart. She watches everything around her with conviction. Independent and yet has been a dream to train. Nothing seems to alarm her and had adapted very nicely to her surroundings and environment. Watching her at this stage to best decide an avenue and direction that might work well.

Violet - One of our favorites of the bigger bred dogs. Came to us somewhat by accident and couldn't ask for a better personality. Extremely athletic and versatile. Excellent ball and fetch prospect with a keen sense of always knowing what you want next. Love her intelligence and has been a dream to train. Easy going, friendly to everyone, well bred characteristics. Totally delightful and fun to be around.

Ritzy was recently purchased as an adult and adjusted very well into her new environment. She gets along with everyone and is very "low key" and super, super sweet. She shows excitement by jumping and shaking herself at the same time. Comical but yet very cute. She too loves her cuddle time and yet can be independent finding her own entertainment to occupy her time. Not aggressive in any way and quite the obedient and easy going gal. Looking forward to pups from her. Awesome temperament. Good bone on heavier side.

Skeeter is a wonderful older dog we purchased based primarily on his background lines and beautiful coloring. He has a super friendly personality and very Athletic dog with awesome running capability. He is sweet, mindful and highly intelligent. Loves car rides and very obedient. He has produced some beautiful pups, many with His baby face looks. Puts much of the copper point coloring into his stock. We have been extremely pleased with his temperament and mindful awareness. He does come from emotional support lines and also has a gentle and nurturing demeanor.

Cash comes to us via Louisiana and has stolen the hearts of every one who meets him. Children and adults adore his patience and loving attitude. He gets along well and helps to train our younger dogs and pups. Another super gentle boy with caring attitude. Nothing bothers him and very much a "go with the flow" dog. Trained very easily and learns quickly. Cash is very thick with nice bone structure along with the softest fur coat ever. We are looking forward his future pups and his addition to our program. He has excellent background lines for championship qualities. Stunning minimal blue merle.
